Beautiful Creatures: The Manga is a manga-styled graphic novel adaptation of the novel of the same name.
In crisp black and white manga pictures, Ethan Wate narrates his dreams, haunted an unreachable raven-haired beauty. When she moves into the small Southern town Blackwood mansion of her protective Uncle Macon, Ethan is inexplicably drawn to her. As her 16th birthday nears, Lena must choose - or will the family curse choose for her?
There were no surprises in Gatlin County .. the middle of nowhere.
I couldn't have been more wrong.
There was a curse.
There was a girl.
And in the end, there was a grave.
A manga adaption to the very popular series Beautiful Creatures, it follows a very similar plot to the original book, though it leaves out a few details, such as Lena and Ethan's first date, the fact that Ethan's dad wasn't actually writing, and how they discovered Ryan's powers as a Thaumarturge. However, other than skipping a few details here and there, it retains the same characters, plot, and ending.
