Mindhunting is the ability a Caster has. It is the ability to sense disturbances and anomalies, things that don't belong. The mind is a labyrinth and a Caster with this ability can also navigate their way through it. Macon gained this ability after he became a Light Caster. Macon sensed that something was wrong and off with Ethan and didn't know what. Later on, it is revealed that Ethan's soul was fractured after he died in Beautiful Creatures. Macon is the only one that possesses this power in the series. John Breed absorbed this power from Macon in Beautiful Chaos.
