Time Control is the ability a Natural and Cataclyst has. Time Control is very rare, and usually only a Natural or a Cataclyst is able to do such effects. A Caster can (at-will) control and freeze time. Sometimes, a Caster is unable to control their powers (ie. Lena Duchannes) and they freeze time unwillingly.
Amma asked The Greats if they could freeze time during Thanksgiving. Unknown to Amma and Lena, Ethan Wate was frozen but he could still listen in on their conversation. Such power is extremely rare, and very strong.
